The Thompson Health Compliance Office promotes and supports a culture of compliance. This is accomplished through maintaining a Corporate Compliance Program that:

• Establishes standards of conduct for all associates, volunteers, contractors and medical staff to ensure they conduct business with honesty and integrity.
• Promotes an environment where potentially improper, fraudulent or abusive activities are prevented, detected and reported.
• Offers any caller confidence, without fear of intimidation or retaliation, that reported concerns will be reviewed, addressed and resolved.
• Provides easy access to patients, associates, volunteers, vendors, contractors and medical staff seeking compliance guidance, education and/or incident reporting access.
• Monitors adherence to applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, guidelines and program requirements.

The Compliance Office is the place to bring concerns relating to fraud or abuse, breach of patient privacy or confidentiality, inaccurate billing of services, conflicts of interest, or violations of information system security, professional practice standards or business ethics.

Attentive Thompson Health Associates, volunteers, contractors, medical staff and patients are the key to identifying risk areas or potential fraud.
